[Every so often, a mortal comes into Sandalphon's life that makes even his long-since stopped heart flutter for a bit. Short-lived as they are, it's always a recipe for disaster, but he can't help but want them anyway—and more often than not, he can't help but pursue them. The fact of the matter is he rarely, if ever, means harm when he does; vampires get lonely too, lonelier than a human can comprehend, and staving it is no easy task.
...But vampires get hungry, too. And it's been a long while since he's last sated himself. It used to be easier, back when things like forensic investigation didn't exist and the population was denser, but it's been getting harder and harder to eat over the past two centuries or so.
And Izumi, the mortal he's recently become so enamored of, has just arrived at the meeting spot for their date, glaring at his fingertip, and asked him if he has a bandage.
Just the whiff of human blood, especially from someone he's come to fancy over the past months, is enough to set Sandalphon's mouth watering. Moreover, of course he doesn't have any—but the two of them are going shopping, so surely a store nearby must have them, right?
Sandalphon takes a few shaky steps in the direction of a pharmacy he happens to know is nearby, rapidly regaining his composure but still looking slightly pale.]
...Follow me, there's a place we can get some. I'll buy them for you, so...
[It'd be wiser to ask him to stay here, but there's no way he'd agree to being left alone right after arriving for a date...]
