( oh, the color is a fascinating reaction, but even nicer is the way wataru touches him with such care, surrounds him like a treasure. he'd been resentful when wataru had bit into him suddenly, but he's also equally seduced by gestures of attention and affection-- that wataru is just so fascinating, bright as though a sun, really only further persuaded him. despite his airs, he's a simple creature at heart.

he takes comfort against wataru, slipping his arms over wataru's shoulders, around his neck. he grins, delighted largely by wataru's excitement, and the prospect, too, of escape-- ah! it would be a lie to say he'd never considered it, but after a certain point it'd become apparent it was outside his means, and the scientists had taken certain precautions ... but the way wataru says it, it all seems so terribly fresh, so terribly easy to do. )

I'd like that ♪ ( he says this with a laugh, letting himself be briefly spirited away by such prospects of grandeur ) I'd like to see it-- the world beyond these walls ... I'd love to see somewhere wondrously new with you ♪ Once I'm done, of course.

( jokingly returning the addendum to wataru,

but that wataru would like to see it with him... mmm... his cheeks pink, and he buries his head against wataru's shoulder,

gently turning his mouth near wataru's ear, his voice a terribly soft murmur, )

Escaping might be nice, though, if you really mean it. I wonder how much longer they plan to keep me once the children are born.

( he doesn't know how well he can survive outside, but it'd be better to try than lie down and die. he can't manage anything on his own, but maybe, with wataru... )
